Yoga

I teach a mobility based practice, heavily inspired by Katonah yoga. In class, I stress using measurement of the geometry of our bodies to encourage proper alignment so that one practices in joint space rather than over-muscling movement. This practice helps people feel better in their bodies, acting as maintenance for their joints. 

As an avid crossfitter myself, I love working with athletes to help them learn the difference between being flexible and truly mobile in their bodies. Learning how to function better through movement patterns and daily life, teaching drills to improve active range of motion and overall movement control.
